Chase | Metro 2033 by Urbanator Chase | Metro 2033 by Urbanator
This was greatly inspired by one of the opening levels of Metro 2033, unsurprisingly,
which was also called 'Chase'.

This is also my first image featuring an OC of sorts, specifically the stalker shooting
holes through the 'tunnel trash', Alena. She's heavily based off Trishka from
Bulletstorm appearance wise.

Rendered in SFM, edited via Photoshop.

I really enjoyed playing Metro 2033 a lot. All that and tension you felt when the packs of mutants were after you, it was great...

Nice work on the pic mate. As always, the posing is great and so are the lighting, the effects, the editing and so on...
Looks like you could advertise the game with pictures like that. :D
But somehow I can't really feel the atmosphere and tension in this one. Sorry man...

Don't be sorry mate, I wasn't going for tension or really even
atmosphere, I was going full hardcore shoot the place up style
(which you see quite a bit of in both 2033 and Last Light :P).
Thanks though! :D

Very nice. Well done.
I'm curious though - what kind of AA did you render it with, and how long did it take to render? I know it's the least time consuming thing, but please tell me, I'd like to know :)

Thanks! Well I rendered at 2160p, but SFM doesn't have much
settings to fiddle with. Suffice to say, everything was set to as
high as it could go and I smoothed out any left over AA in
Photoshop afterwards.

Oh alright. Normally when I see something this smooth, it's with some crazy high AA (32x SSAA e.g.)
The AA looks superb, anyway :)
